Better Work-Life Balance

How to finally create routines you’ll actually stick to so you can get work done, be present when you're off, and make money doing what you love (without working all the time)

Then, fall back into the routine of working all the time, feeling like you're not doing enough, taking a day off because you're so burnt out and feeling so overwhelmed by how much you have to do...

The habits that build wealth aren’t glamorous. They don’t require you to work harder, but they’re the difference between being a CEO and just a business owner.

I've taught and studied 100's of women. Here’s what they actually do daily:

They schedule their priorities first 

Workouts and family time go in the calendar before client calls. Their energy comes first.

They have good boundaries 

They do not say yes when it'll jeopardize their health and well-being just to make money.

They do not people please 

They teach clients how to work with them. They are the experienced one's on how to get the best out of them. Not the client.

They see being a perfectionist as unhealthy

Attention to detail is one thing. Perfectionism keeps them playing small.

 

They invest in systems before they “need” them

CRM at 50 clients, not 500. They build infrastructure for where they’re going.

They review and refine weekly

What worked? What didn’t? They treat their business like a living experiment.

 

They delegate before they’re drowning

VAs, bookkeepers, house cleaners, family. Their time is worth more than the cost of help and they don't feel bad asking for it.

They check their numbers daily

Revenue, expenses, profit margins. You know your numbers and what to charge.

They say no without explaining why
“Thank you for thinking of me. I am unavailable” No justification. No guilt.

They batch their admin tasks
Emails at 2pm. Paying invoices at 3p. Admin doesn’t bleed into creative time.

They maintain professional relationships
Not networking, relationship building only. Wealth is built in community, not isolation, even with "competitors."

 


The pattern: Small, consistent actions compound into massive results.

While others do more and grind to take a day off, women like us focus on these fundamentals to create sustainable momentum.

You would never guess it from this photo, but I was really sick and stressed out, even on vacation.

I started my coaching business in 2019 and worked constantly, hardly taking breaks, and unable to turn my brain off before bed. All I could think about was work.

 

And when busy season would hit, I wasn't eating healthy or making it to the gym as much as I'd like.

 

The slow season would come and I couldn't want to get back into a consistent routine.

I'd have these high hopes of getting back to the gym and everything on my to do list done only to realize how tired I was.

 

I didn't want to work. I wanted to sleep in, be with my friends and family, and go on vacation. Sure, I'd go to the gym more and meal prep a little, but felt so guilty for not being as productive as I hoped I'd be. 

I just felt like I couldn't catch up! 

 

Time was flying and before I knew it busy season was right around the corner, again.

 

And while I loved my clients and making money, I dreaded the feeling of being stressed out, overwhelmed all the time, and burnt out during.

Until I decided enough is enough. I can still love what I do, make good money, but be healthier and happier.

Shockingly it wasn't a consistent schedule that fixed everything.
